Tandoor Chapel Hill

Get creative with these Christmas punches this year!

Are you planning to have friends over this Christmas but not sure what kind of cocktails or punches will be the best and how to prepare them?

Let us share with you some of the most amazing punches, to celebrate this Christmas that will please the palate of all your guests – of course only those who are legally allowed to drink, of course! You may find that these punches are loved by all that have tried them. You can try them with an order of tandoori chicken or any other appetizers.

Punch # 1

Holly Jolly Christmas Punch: This is one of the easiest and the hottest drinks we have seen at parties. You need to add a combo of pineapple juice, squirt, cranberry juice, and tequila in a large bowl.  Stir it well to ensure it blends well. Add large cubes of ice to cool down the punch and make it look cool with all the other ingredients. Finally, garnish it with cranberries as well as lime slices to give it a pretty look and feel.  As it has a fizz of soda, you cannot make it in advance but wait till your guests arrive and then pour it all in and serve directly.

This may come as a surprise for you that tequila is known widely as the favorite choice of liquor for Christmas punches. However, many people don’t even recognize the flavor of tequila unless informed and it just blends very well in the punch.

Punch # 2

Naughty but Nice Christmas Cocktail: Here is another great recipe for a punch that is not only delicious but also a great mix of festive flavors. Of course, everyone may have different likes, but this is one cocktail that usually most people love. This cocktail is the inclusion of rye whiskey, vodka, bourbon, orange and cranberry juice, ginger syrup, club soda, and ice. It is finished with a garnishing of orange slices and cranberries. When serving, you can also add a bit of soda if you feel like it. Try either of these punches with exotic Indian food or authentic Indian food and let your guests have a great time at your home this Christmas!
